After yesterday’s high winds, this morning I jumped in the car to see if there were any trees that fell on our lot. Very few branches fell, which is quite surprising, and no trees — yeah! So while I was at it, I drove to the corner of our Shell station in Rigaud and painted this scene, which is the view that I see every time that I gas up the car. It is surprising to think how a tree in the forest will not come to harm when it is surrounded by other trees. They help each other out, swaying and bending together… if humans look closely at nature, they will surely benefit, as humans are a bit like trees?.

Jane: This is a painting that I like very much. Again, let me tell you that I find you truly great particularly in the chosen subject – of course, I like old looking things – that’s what I see every morning when I look at myself in the mirror. Enjoy your God-Given gift. MOM
Hah! You are quite funny Mom :: in 10 years time you will look back at yourself and find that you are beautiful!!!
